Materials

  • You will need:
    • 1 composition book for journal writing

  • Come prepared for class every day with needed materials
  • Bring your computer every day.

Bell/Tardy

  • You have plenty of time to get to each class.  If you arrive after the bell, you are tardy.  If you need to use the restroom, bring your books in then ask to do so.

Homework

  • All assignments are due at the beginning of the class period.  If you forgot an assignment in your locker, full credit can be received if you put it in my basket in between this class and next.
  • Late assignments will receive a 25% deduction. Late work will be accepted until the next class period after the due date.  (Example:  If the work is due on a Tuesday, it will only be accepted until your class period on Thursday for late credit.  In the event there is no school, it would be due the next school day. )
  • Extra credit is offered periodically to all students.  Take advantage of these opportunities.
  • Homework from an absence shall be done according to school policy.  Remember:  if you are absent for a school-related function, the homework is due the next day!
  • All assignments will be written on the board.  It is YOUR responsibility to get these.  Be sure to ask if you don’t understand what to do for the assignment.
